ACTIVE INCLUSION
Active Inclusion is an employability project for 16 - 64-year-olds situated within the 4Rs building in Pennyburn, funded by ESF.
This is a disability programme which supports participants in overcoming barriers to employment.
At Active Inclusion, we develop individuals’ employability skills and assist them in gaining an accredited qualification in Basic Vocational Skills such as Construction, Painting, Waste management, and Mental Health.
Tutors support participants throughout the programme to develop the individual’s personal and social skills. Opportunities for work placements and work sampling coupled with supported job searches and CV writing via our job clinic, aid the development of their employability skills.
The Active Inclusion Project, is no longer in operation due to funding restraints.
